I have become taken completely with these plants and was astonished at the little information I could get from the library, Internet of books in general on Daturas/Brugmansia. I first became interested in Daturas about 5 years ago when I moved to Cornwall and bought a Datura from Trebar Gardens.
Everything I have written in this website is from my own experience and not necessarily as a Horticulturist would recommend. I am basically a self taught Amateur, completely captivated by the beauty of these lovely plants.
I sell my plants – proceeds to Save the Children and have been amazed at the interest in Daturas. I have raised hundreds of pounds for the Charity. I entered the local Cottage Garden Show and won lst prize in July 2003 for my Brugmansia Grand Marnier. In 2004 I won lst prize again and also ‘Best in Show’ (Horticultural Exhibit).
